Choose your involvement
When each approach fits.
Consider StreamGen if you already work in DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro and want to inspect and adjust the timeline yourself. An editable project can suit a creator who wants direct control over the final sequence.
Discuss Aqua if you want to brief a full gaming upload and give feedback on the resulting edit. Aqua’s stated service includes narrative cuts, zooms, reframes, subtitles and sound design. Confirm the exact scope for your recording; an editable-project handoff is not promised here.
StreamGen also advertises clipping, clip editing and scheduled social posting on its product site. If you need both a main-channel upload and short clips, list them as separate deliverables in your comparison.
A practical evaluation
Compare the complete job.
- Use one brief. State the audience, the session’s goal, the payoff and the moments that must stay. Supply the same source and style references.
- Check a quiet turning point. Watch whether the edited sequence still explains a strategy change or important visual discovery. Silence alone does not tell you whether a moment matters.
- Request one meaningful change. For example, restore the setup for a later callback. Record the steps needed to reach an acceptable result.
- Count your complete workload. Include preparation, transfer, review, corrections, software costs and export checks. A subscription price and a scoped editing quote cover different work.
